Import a subscription

kvn accepts subscriptions and single servers from any VPN service that provides a link or QR code in v2ray, sing-box, or Amnezia format.

1. Import by URL

If you have a link like https://…/subscription/abc123 or directly vless://…, ss://…, hy2://…, trojan://…, wg://…:

Copy the link

Copy it to your clipboard.

Open kvn → Import tab

If a link is already in your clipboard, you’ll see an “Import from clipboard” button.

Confirm

The client will auto-detect the format and parse the server(s).

2. Import via QR code

If your provider gives you a QR code:

kvn → Import → Scan QR

The camera opens inside the app.

Point at the code

Recognition happens in about a second.

3. Import from a file

For Amnezia configs (*.vpn, *.json) or exports from other clients:

  • Open the file in Files / Finder → Share → Open in kvn.
  • Or: kvn → Import → Open file → select the file.

4. Manual entry

For rare cases — kvn → Import → “Enter manually”. Fields: protocol, host, port, key, transport.

Subscription updates

Subscription URLs update automatically every 24 hours (if the provider returns an updated list). To manually refresh — long-press the subscription → “Refresh now”.
